    Hi,

    I paid for a software, not free, i ask since version 1.7, now version 2.3, not thing has done for move your advertising button ! It can take 1 time if you recompile for 3 minutes of works, i think you are lying to your customers. For the last time, please move or give us a standar package without advertising button. I can not compile you project with flex because there is always an error.

    This is more of a suggestion, you should setup a forum where you can answer questions instead of this long Q&A thing. That way, you will probably get less duplicate questions and it would be easier for us to search thru any questions that you may have answered already.

    Please understand, we are doing the best. Developing a software takes a little more than sitting by the inbox and waiting for the requested feature or next release. Every one of you is profiting on features and bug-fixes requested by others and we love to provide that for you. Please understand, it takes some time until we process everyone’s request.

    As you see we come up with new release almost daily and sometimes at 4AM in the morning. That’s all we can do to provide you with the best chatroulette script on the market. Our answer: soon (and soon means hours not days). Thank you for your understanding!

    hbw: I am not sure the self hosted version will be re-included with 2.3 (today) but we are close to relaunch it. And the connection handling is written from the scratch. You will be able to select from configuration.

    there are still many problems in Connection
    In order to avoid duplication of your changes, I recommend doing a server version, rather than using stratus to service, this can avoid many problems.
    The new version should be innovative, they can already be seen, no matter how the current changes the old way will not solve the connection problem

    Auto finding in v2.2 after first searching should stay enable. Now I enable “Auto find next” but after I click “FIND / NEXT” it is disable again. Auto search should stay alive… I think it is a bug…

    I can understand the privacy thing, what im asking is the flash player “allow webcam” windows to ask for permission as soon as you load chatroulette-clone because at this time this window is just appearing when I click the “preview my video” button or when I click start and then next a couple of times.

    Anton: At the moment there is a very easy way to remove all chatroulette clone (JabberCam) brand or other elements (http://www.chatroulette-clone.com/faq/how-to-remove-buttons. The next step: we moving 90% of the brand elements into the XML files so our customers will be able to turn them off without re-compiling the chatroulette software compilation. The version you have, supports over 10000 users at the same time (we are not that fortunate to test it yet but if you are and have any problems just write as and you are supported).

    I’d like to know why are you using your brand in all the paid sources? It’s very hard to setup because you need to search through the code and replace words like “chatrouletteclone”, “jabbercam” on your own name? The standart layout also full of you brand names and links on twitter, facebook etc. And directories are also named by your brand jabbercam? We are paying for this why does you make our life harder? :) You can make a free version and put your ads there.
    I’m also would like to know how can i contact you on email or icq. I need a version that supports more than 100 connection. You said that you have this version and can give it on request, i read about this in the comments?

    Zertuxte: Video cannot be turned on without having the confirmation from the user. This is not the chatroulette clone (and any other chatroulette or video chat software) but operating system and flash player. It is a privacy thing, camera cannot be turned on without asking permission from user. Imagine your pc or phone turning on its camera without asking you ; – )

    Can I have the visitor webcam to be shown on page load or the flash player allow webcam dialog , at this time my visitors have to click in the preview my video button in order to turn on their cameras, and its not easy to explain them how to do this.

    Martijn: Both user blocking and nickname are Chatroulette Clone our to-do list (requested by other clients). We did not plan to add an admin page and user registration to chatroulette clone but your feature request was recorded and added to the list (it may take a time since user registration was requested only by you). We can add a setting to limit on-line users on the chatroulette, no problem. The “Auto Start Chatroulette” was requested before and will be added. Most of your requests makes sense to us and other customers and will be added. Thank you for your feedback!

    Is it possible in the future to block guests via a admin-account?
    Is it possible in the future to work with accounts, so you must register before you can enter the chat?
    How many users can chat at the same time with the red5-script and is it possible to change that limit?
    Is it possible to start the cam automatic by clicking the “start” button?

    Hello Anton, sometimes it takes a few hours until the latest version becomes available in the Download Center for Cahtroulette Clone. There are two changes: ChatRouletteClone.swf (you might want to compile your own from the source code) and functions.php needs to be updated.

    Hello Martijn, please access our Download Center. Red5 0.8 should be ok, please be aware that Red5 support was temporary removed from 2.x version. The reason: It did not deliver the speed we expected. The support for Red5 will be re-introduced soon (after testing v2.2 connections). Thank you!

    Any help you need please email us at any time. The server where the site hosted uses red5 version 0.8, we also have servers with 0.7 so if it is necessary we can move the account to one of thus servers.
    I suppose you have a folder to upload to red5/webapps. if so please zip it and we will upload and restart red5.
